I sincerely think that the "attention to this matter" kicker is a function of his seeing his lawyers write that on letters for years and he thinks it makes it sound more legal-y.
This is a blatant violation of the 1st Amendment but a lot of cowards in academia will use this as an excuse to crack down on campus protest.

TERM LIMITS should apply to all. Public Service needs rotating faces; ideas; voices.
Lifetime appointments are antiquated. Most now live past 38-40. Term limits should apply to all across the board, regardless of elected office or position.
