I only found out today of the death of this beautiful actress. I was so lucky to see her in many productions at the RSC, but the stand-outs for me were as Irina in Three Sisters and as Kate Nickleby in Nicholas Nickleby, two truly great productions, both of which

There was a moment while watching A Marvellous Party at the Prince of Wales Theatre this evening, when Judi Dench was on stage watching a video of her friend Maggie Smith playing Myra in Hay Fever, and it made me well up. And watching Judi, Derek Jacobi, Ian McKellen & Patricia Routledge all
