I should’ve savored food more. I haven’t been able to eat or drink (just little sips of “relief water”) for the past week and just the thought of food & drink is torture, but so good…I’m craving it all.
The hospital is doing its job and giving me fluids, and I’m also starting “IV nutrition” today.

I should’ve savored food more. I haven’t been able to eat or drink (just little sips of “relief water”) for the past week and just the thought of food & drink is torture, but so good…I’m craving it all.

could I just have bad acid reflux? Sometimes it’s not just nausea but the overwhelming feeling of “I feel so full like I just ate a big meal and can’t eat anything anymore” If I even think of food or try to eat some food I feel so “full” That’s where the feeling of needing to vomit comes in 😞

knock on wood but my doctors may have come up with an anti-nausea/anti-emetic drug combo that actually works for me?? at least as of now?? I was able to drink half a shake without feeling like I needed to throw up and my nausea is barely there (as of this moment) 😳🤞🤞

nausea meds seem to work sometimes, sometimes not, but almost all of them also come with the side effect of making me sleepy 😴

You'd think by now, with 7ish months of cancer treatment under my belt, that I'd fully understand the cycle of: treatment → feeling like shit and having no appetite for a week and some change → feeling better and slowly regaining my appetite → feeling back to normal → treatment again.
