Unbound/Boundless who no longer have the rights to sell my book are still selling it for FUCKING $4 on Amazon. Talk about some shady fucking shit. Trying to burn through the inventory THEY NO LONGER HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO SELL before they are forced to send me the remaining stock. Weasels.

"No simultaneous submissions" is a red flag to me that an editor values their own time over the time of the hundreds, to sometimes even thousands, of people who are submitting to them.

I know having a venue hold your story exclusively sucks, but the number of people who ignored our "no simultaneous submissions" guideline our most recent open period really bothers me.

No, it's not an "honest mistake" when you ignore a very clear rule 99.9% of submitters manage to follow.

My hometown is near Littleton. Went there all the time as a kid. Visited again last year & smiled b/c there were pride flags in many windows along main street. Was a much more welcoming vibe than when I was growing up as one of the only visibly out kids in high school. Hurts my heart to hear this.
