Its a good point Ollie - there's a lot to be said that Farmers/farming industry needs more support. British food culture and where the source of our food needs to change - but that would take decades.

What I can't understand is sending it to areas that would have people chase them down the road if they dare come knocking on our ours. Cost them a fortune to do.

I feel the same about the land inheritance tax on farm land. They have put arrangements in place for farmers so they can pay gradually over a number of years. But why should farm business owners be so different to other business owners?

I was at a function a few years ago where I am sure one of the waiting staff was Romanian because we were talking about their country and I loudly exclaimed "The only thing I know about it is Ceausescu!". Standing behind the bar, she did the *biggest* eye roll. Read more about her country after that

Was in Munich airport on Friday, while the EU citizens breezed through the electronic gates after landing - us Brits had to be interviewed and stamped. Its a slight humiliation every time. But all of us know, regardless what the Daily Mail and Express claims, why this happens.

The NHS struggles with finding senior staff who are ready to lead organisations. Huge financial pressures and the fear that there is a something catastrophic going on in your services.

It really centred around Nigel Farage. Nobody can upstage him or take his limelight. Other figures within the party don't have a support base. What will happen when he leaves the stage?
