Arrived home via ferry to Poole on Wednesday night. It used to be a matter of just rolling off but we had to wait for an hour to work through border control. You can shout 'no more brussels bureacrats!" as much as you like, but that wasn't going to cut it when you faced this.

Seeing Bute Park closed off for a few weeks during the peak time shows the extraordinary lengths that the Council has to deal with further budget cuts. Essentially, they have to hold Heavy Metal rock concerts to finance social and nursing care.

YouTube must have thought I was watching the latest cryptocurrency hype video (and not quality FT journalism) because it bombarded me with three ads from Kraken, multiple ads from investment platforms, and one from that Diary of a CEO chap selling shoes.

Reading this at the moment and brings up my anger again around leaving the European Union.

Just a bunch of people in Westminster not grasped on why we needed to do this or thought about its impact. So much of it was about the idea of a European Union and not reflecting how we live our lives now.
