We're getting more calls now than at any time since I've been in Congress. I'm helping out on the phones, talking to constituents about what I'm doing to stand up for the country and federal workers under attack by Trump and Elon Musk.

I welcome your calls, I am listening, and your voice matters.

Absolutely, they need to get in the talk and news shows, especially the weekend shows that dominate Saturday and Sunday and are quoted during the following week.
Combatting the MAGA propaganda machine will be impossible unless Democrats get out in public with powerful messaging. Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries can’t get it done. Jeffries says Democratic responses to Trump’s atrocities should be ‘selective’! The time for Democratic restraint is over!!

We'd seen enough election irregularities on Election Day to question the result.

And then, like the villain in every Bond movie, he bragged about how he did it.

So WHY did they let him get away with it? Read my latest Substack and find out.

No one's blaming Democrats for causing this crisis, but yes, many of them are failing to meet this moment.

One Democratic senator could bring the chamber to a halt. House Dems can go to fed agencies being gutted by Musk with cameras in tow. Governors can push back. State AGs can bring lawsuits.

The silence of most Republican members of Congress on the Trump tariffs tells you two things:

1. They know it is a terrible idea.

2. They are so afraid of Trump that they won’t say anything even though they know how much it is going to hurt their constituents and the country.

BREAKING NEWS:

It is much worse than previously reported:

Not only were at least 30 federal attorneys who worked on January 6 cases fired, but all six of the FBI's most senior executives and multiple heads of field offices have been escorted out.

This is terrifying.
