🧵RFKJr said the measles outbreak that led to the death of a child is “not that unusual” (links below). That’s a lie. It IS unusual because we have the ability to have NO measles outbreaks. But with falling vaccine rates, we are seeing yearly outbreaks of increasing size (links below).

Just as we approach research and bias evaluation in the classroom, it is equally important to critically review our sources of information in adulthood. @politifact.bsky.social is a fantastic resource for fact checking and ensuring that the information we consume is accurate!
