I think about this constantly, and I don't know how you fix this problem, which was recently extensively documented by Media Matters (www.mediamatters.org/google/right...). You need to create a genuine populist left-wing media apparatus, but Rogan's braindead outrage sells better. Howard Stern?

The new census form will have checkboxes for main categories (e.g. Asian) followed by more specific checkboxes (such as Filipino or Korean) and space for people to write in more specific subgroups. It will for the first time include Middle Eastern/North African as a separate category.
