So, I had to search the Internet to know what "area man" was about 🫠

Griffintown?

I'm of the opinion that only concrete & bollards, sometimes radars, can really slow drivers down.

Yeah, zebra crossings are my main problem around here. We got a new one a few years ago that I use twice every weekday with my kids, I end up shouting and waving at drivers speeding through almost every time. I'm already having nightmares about them crossing there when they grow up.

No no, i'm just saying that if PM was the opposition, they would probably be very encline to listen to you and criticize the governing party. In the end it's all about individuals and their dedication.

Almost everyone ignore stop signs and pedestrian crossings, it's a huge problem..

Opposition parties and individuals are always great at listening and channeling negative energy in their favor ;)

Is she talking about that big car almost parked on the pedestrian crossing and blocking all of the visibility.

I got angry a few times with the PM councillors here in the Sud-Ouest, because I thought they weren't doing enough for kids, pedestrians and cyclists security. That being said, voting EM is (in my opinion) making sure nothing gets done concerning mobility and security... I sure don't want that.

Sometimes for zebra crossings the city is bound by rules dictated by the provincial, eg. that much distance from a traffic light, from another crossing, etc. Not that i'm defending them, as I don't know about that specific intersection.

The problem is that we prioritize parking over mobility on almost every road in this city. So we have congestion, collisions and fatalities.

If security is really the idea behind all this audit thing. I say we audit the roads, bike paths and sidewalks in this city, we identify the most dangerous places, and we work to fix the problems. That is the idea behind "Vision Zero". No need to make this partisan.

I love crocs. They may not be optimal for biking, though.
