I have started a Substack and here is my first post. It's about my journey parenting while trying to make art for a living an how I've failed miserably in so many ways in order to succeed in others.

Look I have zero excuses for this, but the idea popped into my head and now it's in your head, sorry

When I tell you I put ALL of my thoughts into making these collage kits, I mean it. I cut up so many damaged thrift books, board games, and my own homemade collage paper, and found used postage stamps on eBay and cool little bits and bobs to fill each one up just right. I’ll be selling these soon.

Trying to figure out a good place to put these. 🤔🪧

The only life hack I have right now is that a tub of blue bell homemade vanilla costs about the same as a large bottle of fancy creamer, but it tastes so much better in (and out) of coffee.

New YouTube video is up! I’m getting a little better at this, but I noticed that sometimes I interrupt myself? Like I’ll start a sentence, and then halfway through I’ll start another sentence. Definitely going to work on that. 😅

Man, it sure will suck a little less when spring gets here. (Just speaking from past experience, but the are unprecedented times)

Lab owners: When you pick up your dogs from places like the groomer or vet, do you guys call everyone you know and say “I just got my labs back and it doesn’t look good.” Cuz that’s what I would do.

Sometime life feels like it’s moving too fast and that’s when it’s a good time for a still life. I found this carafe at the thrift store and it’s by a German company called Kamenstein. They also made a chicken carafe in the 90’s and I want it so bad.

Just saw the Seal Mountain Dew commercial and I’m changed forever. Not sure if it’s for better or worse.

My 7 yo daughter asks a lot of questions about the human body and we have explained that testicles produce sperm. She remembered the word as “spam” and we haven’t corrected her, so she calls testicles “spam packs”.
I also call them that now.

If moths are so attracted to the light, just get up in the day.
