TBH I haven’t really liked him since he threw his own husband under the bus to try and make himself seem more appealing to the straights. Politicians willing to sacrifice anything to get ahead are in it for themselves and he should not be trusted to protect the community. He’s demonstrated he won’t.

Heck, within the last couple decades it was still very common for gay folks to avoid states where they had less rights. Trans folks have to do that NOW or risk being harassed/arrested. The fight never stopped, and they’ll roll it all back if they get a chance. And he’s hung up on identity. Dude.

They see poverty as a personal and moral failing. They blame it on laziness or lack of motivation. As if people can just will their way out when the deck is totally stacked against them. “Why share the bounty when the poor could stop being poor if they wanted to?” It’s an absolutely evil mindset.

Daycare nothing. 💔 At this point they’re lucky if they can afford food/rent/utilities. Federal minimum wage is still $7.25/hr. Hasn’t gone up since the mid 2000s while the cost of everything else continues to rise. It’s ridiculous.

Even the ones that get talked about like “super powers” are like… sure, hyperfocus is nice when it lets me get stuff done rather than vanishing me into a fixation hole for hours that I literally cannot break myself out of. And then feel guilty about it! Bullshit power if there ever was one.

Boss at my first post-college job had the business in his wife’s name for the women-owned business tax break. Then would do stuff like harass waitresses until he made them cry. Absolute POS. Oversensitive, fussy, angry, possessive, took it out on everyone around him but especially fem-shaped folks.

Yeah, and remembering when it all feels too big and too much that everything matters. Small stuff that takes care of your immediate community still makes an impact.

Oh, fuck no. She didn’t suddenly grow a set of principles. She’s mad at her own party because they won’t let her run for higher offices, lol. Has everything to do with her own ambitions being thwarted and getting revenge for it.
