It’s been hard to remember to share positive stuff, but good things do still happen. Our Ewok village display took first place in our category at Scarecrow Weekend! That was seven months of work and a huge labor of love. It was amazing to see it all come together.

Most of my miniature work is scratch built stuff, but a coworker found this kit dollhouse at Goodwill, and snagged it for me! It’s in reasonably good shape and just needs minor fixes. My most recent project was an entirely scratch built 1/12 scale bakery cafe room box (with kitties).
Farmhouse style wooden kit dollhouse with green siding and white trim, missing some of the roof trim and a few shingles. Miniature 1/12 scale cat bakery cafe scratch built to fit into a clear acrylic case. Has two bistro tables and stools, a counter full of treats, open rafter ceiling and half a dozen cats.

I got out a packet of drink mix to dump in my water bottle and Basil got Very Excited. He already had his tube this evening. He’s now mad I won’t share this one.

I’ve spent countless hours building miniature scenes. It’s incredibly inefficient, and very fun for me. I made the herringbone flooring for my last room box from individually cut wooden coffee stir sticks.
