If you're struggling with your mental health and in the UK you can call the Samaritans on 116 123, and you don't need to be suicidal to do so.
Left-leaning Non-Binary Cumbrian.

I have decided to avoid age registering on here for the interim, as I am curious to see how restrictive things become.

Unfortunately this means I won't be able to view or respond to messages for the time being.

Until I get around to requesting my data I can't view extant messages either.

As part of our Black Friday deal, you can listen to Radio Lento for free. That's all 286 episodes or 8 full days of sound. All from real quiet locations across the country. Free to your earlobes. Always. (Though a coffee would be nice if you can spare it > ko-fi.com/radiolento)

Thank god the message from #labour in the #UK is that ordinary people are going to have to pay a bit more and the mega rich have been spared as they've had a hell of a hard time after doubling their wealth in the last decade.

1/ The latest Femicide Census, a meticulous national record of women killed by men, revealed Knowsley has the highest femicide rate in the United Kingdom.
Perhaps if the government and press started to focus on actual male based violence and not vilifying trans women who aren’t harming women

Sorry!

has anyone made a simple USB -> barrel jack power cable/adapter yet? there's so many tiny devices that need like 5-12V around my house that i'd much rather power from a USB source instead of eating up a whole outlet

Cruel. Callous. Cowardly.

The public are seeing this Labour government for exactly who they are.

We all have a responsibility to make them pay at the ballot box.

Reject the hate. Reject them.

This is not who we are. Let's make hope normal again.

I heard that when eating processed meats its wise to be mindful of the number of sausages you have,
so decided on just one with my two eggs - in this case a Cumberland sausage from Hamblings in Whitehaven.
NOM!
Thoroughly recommended.

Four* of the guitars and one of the basses I have don't have hangers, which is causing me not only to ponder how many guitar hangers I need, but whether I should spend the money on more cheap 2nd hand guitars instead.

* The only one bought new (around 1991) is at my cousins.

My only thought on this AI Billboard topping song, is that the record company should be distributing all revenue to every artist whose music was used to train the model that produced it.

I am really glad I wasn't the only one to catch the Aurora Borealis in the UK last night!
Stunning!
Northern Lights in Leeds, north of England, UK. Not even the clouds could stop them! 4 hours of lights tonight 🤯

Tonight I am in Whitley Bay, rain has just arrived, very light, but unsure whether I will get more Aurora Borealis / Northern Lights photos tonight, also I am a bit knackered after last night's particularly convenient insomnia & the stunning display I was fortunate to witness.

Might go get me coat.
