It’s interesting to hear outsiders refer to Mormon bishops, Young Men leaders, as pastors or youth pastors.

I give it exactly 1 second for Christians to make their case against Mormons being real Christians.

You know what?

Just freaking do it.

The country is going 100 mph into a brick wall might as well just push the accelerator to the floor and guarantee there's no chance of survival.

If BLS ceases to produce reliable stats, the economy is toast.

The thing about the Epstein disgustingness that strikes me hardest is that hundreds of rich old men raped underage girls and the only person currently in jail for that vile behavior is a woman.

What’s a real thing from your childhood that kids these days would find completely foreign?

Like, how we used to be able to walk right up to the gate to meet our family coming off a flight.

Or how we had to pick a spot to meet at the theater BEFORE we went.

F#ck. “A provision ‘hidden’ in the sweeping budget bill that passed the U.S. House on Thursday seeks to limit the ability of courts—including SCOTUS—from enforcing their orders *** The provision ‘would make most existing injunctions…unenforceable,’” per the dean of UC Berkeley Law School. 5/22/25
'Hidden' provision in Trump's big bill could disarm US Supreme Court
The provision would bar courts from enforcing contempt citations for violations of injunctions or temporary restraining orders unless a bond has been paid.

Warnock: I hear people attack poor people and act like it’s a crime to be poor, rather than to recognize it’s criminal for so many people to be poor. They do all of this in the name of Jesus… Jesus is the biggest victim of identity theft in the United States

Basically: I don’t think people understand that 36 hours from now it’s possible that America will have a formalized system for abducting enemies of the regime and stashing them in foreign gulags, indefinitely.

A reminder that if the government can send migrants to a prison camp without any due process, it can send U.S. citizens there, too. I know because this happened to me and my family in 1942.

It’s the misogyny. They’re making choices and they know it. See Lundy Bancroft’s work on abusive men.
I recall a lot of hoopla from certain people about a crisis among American men and those same people are looking at what happened in New Orleans & Vegas and blaming... immigration? Wokeness? Schools? Liberals? Literally everything except widespread untreated mental health issues among American men.
