‘We will not play at Lansdowne 2.0’: PWHL says all other options on table for Ottawa Charge
The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) says all options are on the table to keep the Ottawa Charge in the capital, but the team won’t be playing at the smaller hockey arena at Lansdowne once it’s built.

I have an idea: If city council votes to put more money into Lansdowne, the move could include renaming it to "Watson-Sutcliffe Park."

Whatever resulted, good or bad, would be tied to their names indefinitely.

Lansdowne 2.0 doesn’t give Ottawa what it needs. The plan is built around the limits of a public-private deal that leaves the city with hundreds of millions in new debt for a project that won’t serve residents well.

The Auditor General recently released her second sprint audit for Lansdowne 2.0. The risks are very concerning and if realized will lead to tens of millions more in costs for the city of #Ottawa.

18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

We made this website to tell our story:

I’d make a deal: cancel Lansdowne and build an arena at lebreton w/contributions from city provided ice surface serves current Lansdowne needs.
