‘International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium: Insights from the Past, Shaping the Future’ Which will be held virtually on Thursday 22 January 2026 from 11:00-18:00 EDT / 17:00 – 00:00 CET This online meeting will focus on three pillars. First, it will briefly present the progress and achievements of the IMPC programme to date (Session I). Second, it will showcase the extent to which the programme has impacted basic and applied biomedical research along with its translational effects on understanding disease mechanisms and advancing human health (Session II). This Session will also include the presentation of the IMPC survey results. Third, it will solicit ideas and opinions from IMPC members and the scientific community at large on the value and justification for continuing and KOMP/IMPC programme as well as suggestions for future directions and priorities (Session III). production & phenotyping of knockout mouse lines for the remaining human orthologous genes in the mouse genome. Also, this survey seeks the community input on the scientific value of IMPC producing and phenotyping allele types other than knockouts.

We've updated our community links in the Alliance toolbar at the top of every Alliance, and the footer at the bottom of every page, to include links to our Bluesky and Mastodon accounts. The footer also has link to our Facebook presence.
You can find links to Alliance social media in the Community menu of the Alliance toolbar. Links to our Mastodon and Bluesky accounts are boxed in blue. You can download a subset of the table by filtering (for example, by limiting to a single species). #AllianceSkeetorial #DiseaseModels

If you are on such a page, you'll see some bright red warning text right under the Downloads button; the 'Downloads page' link embedded in that warning takes you to the Downloads page where you can download the entire dataset.
The 'disease' parent report currently has 267,798 rows (yikes!), and displays the following warning under a greyed-out Downloads button: The table above cannot be downloaded because there are too many rows in the unfiltered table. Please apply filter(s) to limit the number of rows to less than 90000 to enable the Download button or visit our Downloads page to download the entire data set.

We've limited the number of rows that can be downloaded for a Disease page Associated Genes table to 90,000 rows (this affects only a very few Disease pages, such as the Disease Ontology root term 'disease', DOID:4. Yes, we have a report page for that!).

The “Annotation Details” pop-up has expanded to include much more information. New columns and information include Association, Additional Implicated Genes, Genetic Modifiers, Genetic Sex, Strain Background, Notes, and Annotation Type.
The Alliance Alzheimer's disease page Associated Genes table has been filtered to show C. elegans genes. The Annotation details (circled in brown) pop-up (boxed in blue) is open, showing that the ok2144 allele of spr-1 is implicated, with entries for experimental condition, genetic sex, annotation type, evidence code, source, and reference.

We've added a new Disease Qualifier column. As in the Disease Associations table, the Qualifier describes if a gene may be associated with the onset of, progression of, severity of, or susceptibility or resistance to a disease.

We've added a new Disease Qualifier column to the Disease Associations table on Allele pages. Qualifiers describe whether an allele may implicated in the onset or progression of a disease, or implicated in the severity of a disease
