I feel like I should do something to introduce myself on this space but I also just got off an 8 hr barista shift and am “le tired”

One of the biggest movies of the year is about a marginalized woman realizing that her government is actually a sham and run by a fascist.
She stands up and is vilified while her mainstream/popular best friend capitulates to the regime and gains prestige.

Had a phone call with a friend who is already in the PhD program at the top of my list.
She's helping me make sure my application is as strong as it can be.
Honestly, I'm so thankful for those in my life who keep cheering me on even when I don't believe them.

Can I just say that I've spent the last 90ish minutes drafting my statement of purpose for PhD applications and I am STOKED about the research I want to do.

Having ADHD and depression can sometimes look like lying in bed for two hours telling yourself to get up and get started with your day only to brush that off and keep lying there.
My meds are only a few steps away but my brain can’t be bothered.
