I feel like I should do something to introduce myself on this space but I also just got off an 8 hr barista shift and am “le tired”

Had a phone call with a friend who is already in the PhD program at the top of my list.
She's helping me make sure my application is as strong as it can be.
Honestly, I'm so thankful for those in my life who keep cheering me on even when I don't believe them.

Can I just say that I've spent the last 90ish minutes drafting my statement of purpose for PhD applications and I am STOKED about the research I want to do.

Thanks, brother. I eventually was able to take my Vyvanse and get stuff done. But sheesh the two hours I spent in bed were felt.
But I keep telling myself that I needed that time for my mental health so that I remain energized to dominate the other time I am working.

Having ADHD and depression can sometimes look like lying in bed for two hours telling yourself to get up and get started with your day only to brush that off and keep lying there.
My meds are only a few steps away but my brain can’t be bothered.
