It surreal going from being 'Dad' for four years to suddenly just not. Not allowed to be, discouraged from it, divorced suddenly and with little warning. It's a grief I don't know how to process, to be quite honest.

Still alive and kicking, despite the worst efforts of someone else. Finally getting life back in track towards some form of stability. Income is about to flow back in, got a bed for a month, at least one meal a day, so I'm surviving the ill intents of another.

Lived with StarryLarial for years, bailed her out of many tough situations. Needed help in turn and suddenly I'm a burden. Cost me my job and my home. Been trying to survive this Wisconsin winter for 8 days now and it sucks. Shelters are few and far between and raffle available beds.

Man, after already going into debt for someone, getting told to keep my paycheck is such a relief.
I mean, getting out of the negative is going to devour that first paycheck to begin with, but who's really keeping tabs?

Can't imagine making things up when venting to friends to make me look better and justify my outburst instead of putting in effort for an actual conversation.
Yeah, better to make someone else in my life look like an abusive asshole to my friends.
