Next fair is in April and I’m already tempted to go back with more time. If you love vinyl, CDs or any kind of music archaeology, it’s genuinely worth the trip to Holland.

Roger Waters – KAOS FM 1987 (Bootleg)

Total bargain at €13. A great snapshot of Waters in that Radio KAOS period. These bootlegs are common but not sold this cheaply, so I jumped on it.

David Gilmour – There’s No Way Out of Here (Promo Single)

Couldn’t believe I found this. A lovely Gilmour promo and in great condition. From a dealer with the strongest Floyd selection I’ve ever seen.

David Gilmour – On An Island

Been after this one for ages. Lovely pressing, perfect sleeve, and it means I’ve now completed all of Gilmour’s solo albums on vinyl!

Ash Ra Tempel Experience – Live in Melbourne

Had to grab this. Göttsching plus Ambarchi and co. A gorgeous live record. Fits perfectly with the Ash Ra Tempel / Klaus Schulze dive I’ve been doing recently.

Kraan – Flyday

Kraan are one of those bands I keep meaning to explore properly. Flyday is such a fun mix of German jazz rock and groove. Couldn’t walk past it and not get it, as it was on my want list anyway.

Klaus Schulze – Moondawn

Deep into a Krautrock phase (as you can tell by other purchases I made) at the minute and this is peak Schulze. It sounds Cosmic, warm and hypnotic. An essential piece of Berlin school synth history I'm slowly learning about.

Manuel Göttsching – E2 E4

An absolute landmark album. One hour of minimal bliss that influenced techno, ambient and everything in between. Clean repress copy too. Very happy with this.

Back from Den Bosch and here’s the haul I promised. The fair really is as big as everyone says. Two halls of chaos and treasure. Here’s what I picked up. 🧵 #MusicSky

Early in Harley Race's career he wrestled as Jack Long for Nick Gulas & Roy Welch in Tennessee.

Here's Jack Long (Harley Race) & Johnny Long in 1963 when Harley was 20.

This photo of Terry Funk climbing on top of a steel cage from a 1976 NWA Worlds Title match vs. Gene Kiniski from St. Louis is fantastic.

I finally got around to watching this documentary. Lots of interviews from folks who were around the Cambridge and London scenes at the time. Syd really had "it". But "it" consumed him.

A flawed genius who faded away into obscurity. (Collecting trolleys in Sainsbury's carpark)
