"Each box being stacked contains two studio apartments, already filled with appliances like fridges, stoves, washers and dryers.

Altogether, the pieces will make up 84 studio apartments across six storeys."

In the prefice to Animal Farm, Orwell wrote, “If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”

Public broadcasting was built to do just that.

Poilievre & Carney are locked in a battle over Canada's future.
One is all about cutting taxes, slashing spending, and shaking up the system.
The other is about steady hands, global markets, and quiet confidence.

Choose your fighter, Canada.

🇨🇦 Who added more debt?
Since 1965:
🟦 Liberals: 43 years in power, avg. $21.2B debt/year
🟥 Conservatives: 17 years in power, avg. $25.6B debt/year

Both parties grew the debt — but at different speeds.
Context matters. 📚

Building a stronger Canada can only happen in full partnership with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis.

Thank you to the leaders of the National Indigenous Organizations for a productive and wide-ranging discussion today. It is the first of many.

Went to the Peel Art Gallery Museum and Archives today in Brampton. Got a tour from a lovely lady. Learned a lot about the region. Saw come cool art from local artists. Small regional museums are a vastly under rated resource. Don’t skip them.

This is a pre-print study, as Sen. Merkley noted, but still a huge deal, and this story is mostly about related peer-reviewed research on microplastics in human bodies. 🧪

Being a country means we each step up to our ability for the betterment of us all.

As Albertans we've benefited from the uneven distribution of oil in the good times. And we now have responsibilities in the bad times.

We hang together. That's the best and fastest way out of this mess for everyone.
