The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.

One bright side to being forced to live in an AI slop tornado is now I see my artistic mistakes as incredibly endearing. The human machine of my body made that weird line. Call me conspiratorial, but the big reveal that it AI is racist/sexist/ableist/all-the-phobics is being treated like it’s a flaw in the system rather than part of its design. Whether it’s intentional or not, the bigotry and abuse of “AI” as it’s been built is the yeast in the bread, no?
