I’m pretty sick of living in a state constantly held back by ancient attitudes from up north. The animal exploitation alone at RNA is enough to keep me well away from #ekka. Instead of normalizing animal exploitation for city kids, it could be about educating Qlders up north about animal welfare. 😢

Just went to #ekka for the first time in almost 15 years and scarily it hasn’t evolved in that time. Night show was just weird, an odd mix of colonist/nationalist flag waving, monster trucks with 1950’s sexism thrown in (show girls in a wagon pulled by a tractor). Guarantees I won’t be back.
