It was a Nazi salute. It was intentional.

I suspect Elon did it out of jealously because Trump is getting all the attention today. Musk actively supports the German far-right today. There is no doubt about his political views at this point. Nor any doubt about Trump's.

Heyy! So, I’ve been reading Tolstoy’s book “Kingdom of God is Within You” and decided to record it as an audiobook. It's one of Tolstoy's non-fiction books where he writes extensively about his pacifist, often anarchist, leftist interpretation of Christianity, and his rigorous critique of the Church

And the media just manipulates the whole story
The brazen murder of a CEO in Midtown Manhattan—and the cheering reaction to his execution—amounts to a blinking-and-blaring warning signal for a society that has become already too inured to bloodshed, @adriennelaf.bsky.social writes. theatln.tc/ZRcsrreK

Since a suspect was identified and charged in the murder of the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, it has been impossible to escape his photo. But our critic asks, what happens when violent crimes are overshadowed by appearances?

“Brain rot” is the Oxford Word of the Year. No other phrase so perfectly encapsulates the blend of ennui, haziness, and exhaustion of online life, @johnhendrickson.bsky.social writes in The Atlantic Daily.

I think the carbon tax is a perfect example of how political compromise in the era of bad-faith politics doesn't work, so you might as well do the more-progressive, bold thing.

The Liberals put in place a price on carbon, which is really a Conservative, market-based response to climate change.

Hm, this group seems to want basic human rights and to be left alone. But them asking for that upsets this other group, which really likes dehumanizing, attacking and stripping rights from that first group for imagined reasons
