rn literally the only thing my brain wants to write is scream. i'm working on a dewey/gale fic post 5 where he lives, plus like four shorter things. there's no audience for this and that's kinda refreshing. idk how long this phase of being obsessed with them will last but feels good, feels right.

my local starbucks is unionized and they are striking. i used the contact form on the starbucks website to write in support of them striking, and this is the response i got.

I usually write melody first and just plug in random words to get a rhythmic scan going and write the actual lyrics later and one that i still remember is the "here's to the nights we felt alive" melody was originally "all in the same wide comfort stare"
