I have never been more disappointed in a friend and colleague than I am by Jonah Wheeler. It’s really sad what people will do to gain political power.

Weird that we have to say this, but the government doesn’t get to decide what gender a person is.

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

During today’s 43rd annual MLK Celebration in Manchester, I was honored to receive the Vanessa Washington-Johnson Bloeman Leadership Award.

As we face the challenges ahead, let MLK’s wisdom bring us hope - “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”

Was LAFD defunded by $17.5 million? YES

Some council offices and the mayor are now trying to cover for their disastrous budget by claiming that they approved new LAFD contracts, which happened 6 months AFTER they approved the FY24-25 budget, leading to services and 58 LAFD positions cut

We can do this in NH too. Universal programs are much easier to administer than means-tested ones. Nobody should have to choose between payinf for life saving meds and basic necessities like food and housing. #NHPolitics
As of January 1, Minnesotans won’t have co-pays higher than $25 per month for prescription drugs used to treat chronic diseases, and we’re putting a $50 per month cap on all related medical supplies.

We’re putting the wellbeing of our people before the profits of big pharma.

A trans woman on tiktok posted about getting her gender marker changed on her Florida drivers license. Florida investigated her over it, canceled her license, and then leaked the story to libs of tiktok to announce it publicly to humiliate her.

So excited to officially be rejoining the Criminal Justice & Public Safety Committee as Clerk for the ‘25-‘26 biennium! I’m proud of the important, bipartisan legislation we passed last session and I’m looking forward to doing more good work with my colleagues this term.

Feeling property tax bill sticker shock? Blame the past 4 years of Republican downshifting.

Make no mistake, NH House Democrats will fight for a state budget that protects our critical services and does not shift more of the cost to our local property taxpayers, again. #NHPolitics
