With Tom Lehrer's passing, I suppose this is a moment to share the story of the prank he played on the National Security Agency, and how it went undiscovered for nearly 60 years.

Is the Edinburgh Fringe a Judenfrei zone now? With just a week to go before the Fringe kicks off, Jewish comedians are being unceremoniously cancelled.

Based on the IDF's incredible feats recently, I hope the training is the other way too
The UK is training an armed group currently commiting genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and attrocity crimes.

That means your tax money is aiding all of these things.

Let that sink in.

This is, of course, true. The default normal position is to support Israel’s existence

In the great game of musical chairs that is British politics, it’s impossible to foresee which contestant will be left with nowhere to sit when the music stops. Keir Starmer won a landslide victory...

To the comments! No, no, we don't want their tax revenue etc etc
Some of the U.K.’s richest residents are leaving for Spain, Italy, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates — places where taxes are lower or where they can pay a flat tax to shield their global income.
Are the super-rich leaving London? Tax changes could spur wealth exodus.
Oligarchs, exiled leaders, hedge fund managers and high net worth locals have coexisted in a city where old and new money collide. That may start to change.

Or, more succinctly, “tit-for-tat”
this is based on a little known principle called "when someone is nice to you unexpectedly, most people try to understand and reciprocate to some degree, and when someone you'd expect to be on your side is a vicious saboteur, you are likely to reevaluate your association with them"
