I am always struck by the belief that any human’s rights can be determined by whether other people agree they should have them or not — especially in a nation that believes its exceptionalism derived from its codifying of innate rights.

Black Lives Matter was founded in 2013, in direct response to the acquittal of Zimmerman in the cold blooded murder of Trayvon Martin.
