Previously when posting I would talk about allergy, gardening, cooking, and Parkinson’s, which my mother suffers from.

Thanks for the reminder @janemunday.bsky.social. Every summer, I repost this article DROWNING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DROWNING. To date, I know of FOUR kids who were saved after someone who'd clicked on the link learnt how to spot actual drowning. Take time to read and pass on.

🔹 An average of 20 promotional claims are made on packaging of foods aimed at babies and toddlers.
🔹 In some cases up to 43 claims were made on a single product!

Bravo @foodfoundation.bsky.social - another fab Broken Plate report, incl shocking analysis on baby/toddler snacks: 74% with front of pack claims high/med levels of sugar compared to adult recs. Av 6 claims per product! & 94% of claims not permitted by WHO marketing guidelines.
