If you are an Illinois Alum, register your thoughts with the Chancellor's office (217) 333-6290. The staff is helpful and they are aware of the situation and "they are in the process of handling it". Not sure what that means, because it was above the staff's "pay grade".

I should also make this explicit so that I don’t get yelled at - I don’t think that refusing to seat electeds would work, which is probably why people don’t like talking about it and instead come up with the movie scenario

If you’re going to discuss risk I think it’s important to show that you understand risk in a situation instead of thinking what a bad thing would look like in a movie and then saying it. That makes you untrustworthy.

i think if you post like this without offering concrete steps people can take to prepare for and respond to interference or without any acknowledgement of the success (or lack thereof) of this strategy then you are basically engaged in voter suppression.
