If you've got a proven product that had a good launch, maybe you can replicate that success with another audience. With a little forethought, and intelligent cross-promotion, there's a lot of potential here.

Traditional ongoing campaigns like SEO and ads rely heavily on your own infrastructure, audience, and relationships, and content which takes time to develop.

They're all important, but most businesses need $$$ well before that traction kicks in. (I know I did!)

Early-stage businesses typically don't have a mature email list, consistent traffic, or deep relationships yet. And a traditional launch, with great effort and some luck, will give you a brief spike of sales, but as soon as the window closes, most business go back to square one.
