Shaking up affiliate program management with Siren Affiliates. Helping companies re-imagine affiliate programs. Usually found in #WordPress circles.
I just discovered Firefox finally added support for tab lists in the side instead of on-top. As an ultrawide monitor person, I'm very very pleased by this development.

I always laughed at how many open tabs people had open in their browser. I've always been a "one tab" kinda person.

And then I started running my own business. That uh...that humbled me a bit.

Is anyone actually using those AI-based scheduling tools? Are any of them actually any good? I'm talking about the ones that help you plan your agenda or whatever.
June 11, 2025 at 1:15 AM
I'm really beginning to notice that using AI effectively is, itself, a skill. People always position it as a magic solution, but you can DEFINITELY tell when someone lazily copypasta's an AI response vs using AI to help them cultivate a thoughtful reply.

Today is #nationalyoyoday AND #nationaldonutday? I've been prepping my whole life for this moment!

Today was a big day for my agency. We closed a good-sized retainer with a client, and I never met the client myself.

My salesperson worked the deal, another teammate handled the contract, and our ops system is handling the fulfillment.

I'm so giddy I can hardly stand it!

I feel like I've been really re-discovering the '80s. It was a great time for music.

I'm looking for my next great WordPress project. If you, or someone you know is working on a WordPress website that needs some extra expertise to help get through that "one really hard thing", reach out.

Today, I spelled entrepreneur correctly on the first try. AMA.

I've been using Rocket.net for my hosting lately, and I've been really loving their support and setup in-general. Been moving most of my clients over to it just because it's been rock-solid.

I’ve been coming out to the campground in the afternoons to work, ride my bike, fly kites, and play fetch with Phoebe. As you can see, Phoebe approves.

Oblivion is somehow more buggy than I remember.

I love it 😄

Let's talk about one of my favorite partnership strategies - the partner launch.

If you've already validated your product and proven there's a demand, but you don't yet have a huge audience of your own, partner launches offer an amazing way to get a boost in traction and growth.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are my "meeting days". I schedule all of my meetings on these days. The consequence is that these days are INSANELY busy, but Monday, Wednesday, and Friday end up being a lot more productive as a result.

But WOOF am I tired after a very chatty Thursday!

People don't want gurus - they want guides. Gurus say "Here's my knowledge, take it or leave it." Guides adapt, collaborate, and take responsibility for outcomes. Be a guide. Help people get real results.

I'm getting twitchy. After being at the OBX and coming back home to cold weather, and rain, the cabin fever vibes are hitting hard. I gotta get out of this house. I can only play so many video games 🫠

If you're launching a product without strategic partners, you're missing one of the most powerful growth lever available.

When I built Siren, the product didn't begin with a feature list. It started with a conversation. 🧵👇

Most requests I get are for solutions.
My client didn’t mean “optimize WooCommerce.”

They meant “our site is a mess and we’re tired of wasting money.”

Stop being a solution creator.
Start being a problem solver.
Are you a Problem Solver, or Solution Creator?
There’s a big difference between being a problem solver and being a solution creator—and most people get it wrong.

Spending some time reaching out to previous customers and other connections. Some are potential clients, but many of them are non-competing vendors who I think could become a referral partner with Novatorius.

Word of mouth can be systematic, you just have to know how to set it up.

Your customers don't care how clever your solution is.

When Airbnb struggled early on, the founders knocked on users' doors, listened closely, and adapted their language and offering.

Their revenue exploded nearly overnight.

Learn your customer's pain. Solve that problem.

Imagine paying $3K for ONE meeting where nothing happens.

That client hired us to help with their enterprise WooCommerce site, but I soon realized they needed someone who cared about their success.

So, we did just that.

If you want an agency who HELPS you succeed, let's talk.

🚨 More affiliates ≠ More revenue.

Stop chasing quantity. Focus on affiliates who know your product, serve aligned audiences, and value genuine partnerships.

Quality drives growth—not numbers.

Did you know that you can create a sliding percentage scale in Siren?

For example, you can reward affiliates with a 10% commission per sale, which increases to 15% if they refer 10 customers in a month.

This is a POWERFUL motivator in the right context.

I'm on a mission to get rid of hourly work in my agency, and Siren is a key part of the equation.

To me, an affiliate program is just one of dozens of places an incentive program can help my business grow, and Siren is built to be able to create any of them.
