Isaiah had a very key conditional there

"You serve your own interest on your fast day and oppress all your workers. ... If you offer your food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, ... you shall be called the repairer of the breach."

There is no repair without justice

Pathetic from the committee - they panicked to put in an ACC team, then the Bama bias kicked in. Games should matter, should’ve been Miami and ND
So, BYU was penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game (dropped one spot). Which allowed Miami to move up and get compared directly to Notre Dame.

But Alabama was not penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game.

Is it good that Auburn has given us more yards in penalties than we’ve gotten offensively? That’s good, right?

All the coordinators have to go, this is just inexcusable in Auburn.

In Georgia, a mom facing eviction reached out to DFCS for help. They offered her nothing. Soon the agency took her kids away because of "inadequate housing."

The state then paid *$6,200 a month* to house her kids in foster care.

One of the most important and infuriating stories I read this year:
When Families Need Housing, Georgia Will Pay for Foster Care Rather Than Provide Assistance
In more than 700 cases over five years, Georgia reported inadequate housing as the sole reason for taking a child into foster care, a WABE and ProPublica analysis found. Advocates say it would be chea...

Pretty telling that even when saying "we would only cut Social Security for young people," Republicans talk about moving the retirement age "up" to... 2-5 years lower than it actually is
As some Democrats (including progressives) maintain their naive delusions about Musk's DOGE - Republicans like Chris Sununu (NH's outgoing gov) are making it pretty clear what they this nonsense good for - privatizing and gutting social security as we know it. www.semafor.com/article/12/1...

Beginning to think we may have to do more to win than just have popular, helpful policies…
Democrats engaged in hard introspection and deep policy debate about how to make rural America like us while the GOP talks about cutting rural America off from USPS’s universal service requirement.
