Got an email from BTV, link to "where we fly" page in the email is broken. Navigate to the page, see that flights to Orlando and Tampa are served by "Fronter" Airlines.

The latest outrage is an email I received that had this as the first paragraph. What's worse, that they don't know when the twelve days of Christmas actually starts, or that they don't realize that if it did start on the 13th, the twelfth day would be Dec 24? en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_...

Somewhere between St. Michaels College and the Champlain Valley Exposition is the point at which Google Maps flips from suggesting you hop on I-89 vs continue on 2A.

(I was initially surprised at the directions to St. Michaels; without Google Maps I would have stayed on 2A) #vt

Interesting claim on www.btv.aero/flights regarding the environmental impact of flying. www.carbonfootprint.com/calculator.a... does suggest the carbon footprint of driving to NYC in a reasonably efficient automobile is about the same as flying. 🤔

Finished @tkingfisher.com's A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking! Among its many virtues, it is an excellent antidote to feeling powerless in this moment and a sober reminder to adults to step up. Be sure to read the author's note about the book's route to publication -- a story in its own right!

If you travel to Paris and visit the Musée Rodin, you too can spend some time in careful contemplation of Rodin's Balzac.

Anticipated workplace conversation tomorrow:
"What did you do on your day off?"
"I put all my wordle games into a spreadsheet, like I should have from the start."

"In the countryside of the sea" is what I'll call my set of collected poems dedicated to Kate Chopin.

While putting stuff in the recycling, I took a closer look at the ObscuraBTV design and am not at all sure what the three smaller circles are supposed to represent.

Having grown up seeing the OT in the theater, I found it frustrating for the prequel trilogy to present the Jedi as celibate monks who can't know love, in seeming contradiction to it being treated as perfectly ordinary in the OT that Anakin had a child. 1/2
