Is there a way to use the term liberal that isn’t clumsy?

Leftists and most self described liberals have different values.

I find leftists care about outcomes (specifically for working class people), liberals care about institutional structures (often driven by fairness and/or stability).

Liberals who oppose free markets, sometimes called RadLibs tend to just eventually become socialists, and frequently use the term democratic socialists (which is unnecessary since socialism is a movement of democratic control of work and capital, but that’s how they like to define themselves).

Forced fake happiness should be banned. Yes Karen, no one wants to smile for $15 an hour while you yell at them about how your coffee order isn’t perfect.

And the monthly payment difference is only about $100 less. Not worth it at all.
