The freak out is hitting them so hard.

Lately I’ve been hearing all about how so many gays are right-wing Republicans.

I’d like to remind everyone that the people pushing the idea gay men are conservative are headlines like this in the WSJ and straight Republicans like JD Vance.

It’s been so fun to watch members of the media freak out that the oppo dump on Graham Platner didn’t work.

What’s interesting with this piece is Chait is admitting it didn’t work (which is what he’s upset about 🤣).

Why do people think corporate owned media is in the tank for big business?

Oh I don’t know, maybe it’s all the articles claiming a 72 hour work week (something extremely rare and insane) is the hot new trend.

The oppo dumb/media pile on has crippled Graham Platner.

New poll out from University of New Hampshire:

Platner now only receives 58 percent of the vote. Janet Mills voter haul is an astounding 24 percent of the vote. 🤣

Florida’s addiction to police spending is so out of control, the Broward Sheriff is complaining in print that his budget increase is too small and should double digits like in neighboring Miami and Palm Beach.

Zohran Mamdani is polling far ahead of his rivals.

So naturally media claim he needs a perfect debate performance.

2: If you’re so concerned about your shot, why are you showing us most of your house. We don’t want to see such a bland kitchen and half your living room.

Just show a bookshelf behind you or something, then your staffer can be behind the camera giving you info instead of correcting you on camera.

The Atlantic plays a dirty game claiming elites are cowards surrendering to Trump.

Elites haven’t surrendered, they have unmasked.

Elites and the rich do not support democracy, they despise economic justice and they weaponize social issues against their enemies.

They love Trump.

Gun violence happens every day. To claim Charlie Kirk’s murder will scar an entire generation is insane.

They’ve been having active shooter drills their whole life. Just like Trump, they will get over it.

The next time someone tells you the economy is fine:

This is a real paragraph from the piece. The first sentence in the next paragraph raises the bar with “Yeah, man, sorry, I don’t see it.”
September 8, 2025 at 12:37 PM
I honestly thought given the headline, The Atlantic wanted to dive into what is the abundance movement and its flaws.

Silly me, it’s just a bunch of moaning about Luigi lovers and distain for Hasan Piker’s armpits (not joking).

It’s my fault for even attempting to read anything from them.

A media earthquake for so-called AI:

A headline that doesn’t call an LLM by the PR term AI but just calls it an LLM (large language model).

I’ve met leaders and celebrities, men and women of history, had a hand in bending the direction of America.

And what I think is important is being one of the first half million viewers of Lady Gaga’s latest video that just dropped an hour or so ago. 😜

In another exchange, the boy suggested he leave his noose for someone to find it.

OpenAI’s product told him not to.

ChatGPT couched a 16 year old boy to end his life.

Logs show ChatGPT actively assisted the boy over a period of months.

The kid literally uploaded his plans to end his own life and OpenAI’s product offered to upgraded it for him. It also offered to write a suicide note.

When I say to friends, Vox seems more reactionary lately, part of it is the content of the articles, and part of it is headlines calling people far-left cranks.

Now even AI companies are turning on the AI hype they created
August 25, 2025 at 1:12 PM
Sam Altman started this hype around large language models — even claiming it was AI.

Now I read in Bloomberg he’s telling news outlets investors may have inflated a AI bubble.
August 22, 2025 at 10:39 AM
Media outlets seem to have soured on the AI hype machine.

Context: They labeled me two months ago. But it looks like they finally removed me from that label since I posted this post (I did file a report with Bluesky 3 weeks ago) so then I saw today tbat they added me to a list 14 days ago — which I appear to still be on.

The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed of itself for peddling such propaganda that demands we ignore the images in front of our very eyes.
