Whilst on my stag do many years ago I was on a long hungover walk in Herefordshire and looked down and was suddenly in disbelief. I had found a four leaf clover! I keep this one in Chaucer cause where else do you keep such a thing. Happy St Patrick’s day! #plants #stpatricksday #fourleafclover

It’s bryophyte time baby! I’ve once again been mooching around temperate rainforest looking for plants.
These lil guys were found in Bethesda and the base of Eryri.

Tetraphis pellucida
Lophocolea heterophylla
Saccogyna viticulosa

I’ve been wandering around Bangor again and unbelievably have found something other than bryophytes for #wildflowerhour

I was at Ross sands and I couldn’t find the pippit, heart breaking. Went to the wrong end of the beach apparently.
Late to #wildflowerhour but I didn’t really see many flowers. Common pallia and Polytrichum piliferum nr Glossop, Blennothallia crispa in Bangor and Squamarina cartilaginea at Llandudno. @wildflowerhour.bsky.social
