@angbirdnews.bsky.social I've not had much free time for birding since moving but I grabbed half an hour this afternoon along Trwyn y Penrhyn, Cemaes. Highlights were: 1 curlew, 10 oystercatcher, 2 redshank and 3 stonechat. I should have gone to Cemlyn!

@angbirdnews.bsky.social We had a potter around Trwyn Cemlyn this afternoon. It was fairly quiet with handfuls of curlew, redshank, turnstone, oystercatcher and a lovely grey plover.

@angbirdnews.bsky.social I did a bit of sea watching of Wylfa Head from our house yesterday, not ideal due to double glazing and dried on Saturday spray. It was hard to id most birds but I did see 3 gannet, 5 Manx shearwater and a fair number of what looked like auks.

@angbirdnews.bsky.social Midafternoon walk from Cemaes to Wylfa head. Birding highlights: 1 little egret, 1 curlew, 1 gannet, umpteen oystercatcher, 2 cormorant, fly-bys of rook, carrion crow and jackdaw with chaffinch, meadow pipit, blue tit, pied wagtail, stonechat, dunnock and robin at the head.
