I’m not 100% sure about this but it seems like sex evolved a bunch of times (or, like, swapping genetic information evolved a bunch of times) but males and females only evolved once. Like, the common ancestor of plants, animals, and fungi was the one and only origin of, not sex, but “the sexes.”

I just discovered this insane trick, I go to any store, move a little plasticky thing on a little machine to make it go "boop" and they let me just walk out with anything I want.

Surprisingly enough though If you put makeup on that particular pig, Elon Musk would still try to have kids with it.
