The difference between “resistance” and “resilience” is meaningfully important in this moment. We do need to stop their actions but we can and should be creating our own power too.

“Resilience” makes more clear that the people create our own power and can generate power if we choose to. It’s not the same as “acceptance.”

“Resistance” positions power somewhere else — i.e., we are “resisting” the power which someone else holds.

This misses the fact that we also have power and can use it.
