It has been a privilege to be part of this research over the past few months with such a motivated and intelligent team of researchers!
MPPs Lilian García Berg, Camille Haisell, Cyrus Nagra, Zara Rezae, and Fayez Sahak, coached by Pearl Eliadis, were tasked by #WhiteHelmets to explore protecting civilians and aid workers from suicide drones. “We’re crafting policies to safeguard responders”.

Forty attacks on civilian objects today in northwest #Syria, killing 15 people, including 5 children, and injuring 46 others. The White Helmets have responded to attacks on marketplaces and attacks using cluster bombs. Thousands are being displaced, but there are very few places to go.

Hundreds of families displaced at the onset of winter by an intense military escalation in NW #Syria the past few days. Yesterday an attack on a primary school killed three children and injured 14 other civilians.
