Gullible maybe, but also being fed by supposedly trustworthy media.
Almost every article I read in the UK covering this mentioned that the data was “shared with third party advertisers”.
None mention, not even in the US, that the case is predicated on breaching the Wiretap Act.

Why does Apple Music Replay, Spotify Wrapped, NYT’s photos of the year, and even a computer generated album of photos from the year past come out before the year has ended?
Why not release these in the bit before new year when everyone is sat around doing nothing? Or even better…January?

20 years ago today Apple opened its first retail store in the UK. Apple Regent Street opened its door on November 20th 2004 to huge crowds, I queued for many hours to get in. Split over two floors the store featured a huge glass staircase with a theatre upstairs at the back.
