Riiiight. Greenways = aimed at rural already coming in to Cam, Quiet lanes aimed at rural areas in general, every new AT route funded though last committee outside Cambridge. I know you love to complain but you might want to look at what is happening.

The majority of roadworks are by third parties not by the county council. They’re obviously not our subcontractors.

Quite simply there is no law to enforce that. The best we can do is implement lane rental where we charge them by the day. I still find it amazing that the permit fees for the gas works on Hills Road are the same as for a tiny job. Saying and empty site doesn’t always mean nothing happening…

9/n One more thing, pothole filling is also usually considered a revenue activity and the new funding is capital. As such I'm pretty sure we're not actually allowed to use this extra money on filling potholes anyway...
