I have to confess I’m not entirely convinced by Kenya’s approach to LTN 1/20.

Really proud to have joined and spoken at the first Kidical mass in Cambridge! Literally hundreds of people riding through the streets showing their support for safe routes to schools.

Built in 1842 Cambridge Corn Exchange. Designed by Richard Reynolds, it’s really hard to get a good view of it in all its Gothic glory. #cambridge #blackandwhite #architecture

Great to have our first Lib Dem Cambridgeshire county council group meeting today. Really pleased to say I’ve been elected to stay on chairing highways with Robin as my vice chair. Only problem with so many of us is that it’s difficult to get a good group photo!

Crazy to see how empty the Conservative benches are at Full Council today. What's going on?

Well it’s been a time coming but really nice to cycle lanes refreshed on East Road this morning. Great to see the extra investment in maintenance slowly making a visible difference.

So given that there are quite a lot of people born intersex with female internal reproductive systems but male external, has Trump just declared a woman can have a penis after all? What a hateful idiot. #TransRightsAreHumanRights.

It might have ugly bins and a dreadfully placed anti terrorism barrier but I do love Cambridge and it sure is pretty in the snow!

Well that was fun, on ITVnews tonight about getting. Stay safe out there, it’s going to get cold!

It’s something which is pretty simple but I haven’t seen any other local authority do it. Also still amazes me that DfT highway maintenance funding formulas are based on significance to cars and not all users. Build a new road and we get funding for maintenance. Build a new cycle route and we don’t.

Wow the current queue for the Grand Arcade car park is 1/2 a mile long. Not a modal filter in sight. Surely nobody thinks this is working right?

Very much needed this morning!

Sunday morning requirement. Where are the #coffee geeks on here?

Will be interested to see how this works out, the issue for us has always been the completion for that space between disabled, buggies and now bikes. Really wish we could find a way to put them on the front like in the US. They had them 20+ years ago when I lived in Colorado.

Is it any wonder Buses in the UK feel like a poor relation to trains or road? Almost 30x as much money goes into trains as buses from DfT. Can you imagine how transformational it would be if they got a similar level of funding.

Wow that's quite a drop off in the local road quality figures in the last 3 years. Really demonstrates how much local government has been starved of funding for maintenance under the Tories.
