This isn’t an SNL skit.

At a cabinet meeting today, Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed that Donald Trump saved 258 million lives—75% of the U.S. population—in his first 100 days by seizing fentanyl.

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

Witkoff was a fool for joining that chat from Moscow. But the entire charlatan national security team also chose to put him on that chat when they knew (or should have known) that he was in Moscow. A spy novel based on this level of cretinous behavior would be unbelievable.
If they’re sharing highly classified military plans over Signal while some of the folks on the thread are overseas, what *else* are they doing?

Total incompetence, and gross negligence to put a legal point on it:

Trump WH "envoy Steve Witkoff was in Moscow, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, when he was included in a group chat with more than a dozen other top administration officials" discussing war plans on Signal.
As top Trump aides sent texts on Signal, flight data show a member of the group chat was in Russia
As top Trump cabinet members sent texts in a Signal group chat, CBS News analysis shows one of them, Steve Witkoff, was in Russia.

I'm serious: Shouldn't the judge demand to know if the "state secret" they are claiming to invoke was discussed on Signal?

This is actually a review, Tulsi. Congress is reviewing.

And refusing to answer the question would seem to confirm that the Director of National Intelligence was using her private phone to discuss war plans.
REED: Were you oversees during any part of these discussions?

GABBARD: Yes I was

REED: Were you using your private phone or public phone for Signal?

GABBARD: I won't speak to this because it's under review

REED: What is under review? It's a very simple question

Not making this up. Here’s billionaire-think in Trump’s cabinet: let’s stop sending out SS checks. Whoever screams the loudest are the frauds. 🙄 — Howard Lutnick, Commerce Secretary, Chair of Cantor Fitzgerald

Checks to the elderly and disabled. Complaining about a missing check = criminal.
Seniors won't complain if they miss a Social Security check, Lutnick says
More than 70 million Americans get a Social Security benefit every month, and for many, those checks are their only income.
