Bright night skies. Not to be maudlin but I love this city mostly because of the infrastructure, the planning it took, and I'm scared that will stop soon. Will the bridge fall, will the people and buildings holding it all together be forced away or crumble due to lack of care?

While they are indeed common, I really love the Common Tody-Flycatchers. They constantly make their little chip calls and they're so tiny and bright! They also love to build nests right near houses, probably because there are fewer predators around humans. This was at @tapirvalley.bsky.social #birds
