I’ve noticed that when I don’t take care of something that comes to mind, it’s usually because I immediately start convincing myself of the reasons I don’t have to or shouldn’t do it. I give myself a lot of pardons in that way, and end up not getting anything don but feeling alright about it.

“New Pope Denounces AI as ‘Humanity’s Great Threat’” is so sci-fi-coded, the fact it’s real makes me feel a little insane

I say this without a hint of sarcasm. The Armageddon DVD commentary is the finest work of Ben Affleck’s career.

Is anyone else ceaselessly attempting to impress? I’m scrolling timelines just trying to think of something witty to say.

Maybe your kid will have just the two dolls, but they could be a very special pair of the two genders, like Spider-Man and Elsa, or Trump and Vance.

I gotta stop being so much of a lurker all the time. I needa post hot takes.

I tried watching Isle of Dogs (2018) again last night. I just can’t get over how ugly and uninteresting it is, easily one of the worst for Wes Anderson. I’ve also been watching the rest of his discography, most recently The Darjeeling Limited and The Royal Tenenbaums, both of which I loved.

I should get out of the house more often, before I can’t anymore.

Hurt me during the week, I’m already over it. But hurt me on a weekend and I will think about it every weekend for a month. How dare you soil my Saturday morning?

Just heard about this fencing thing for the first time. Funny thing is, guy at work came up to me last week asking me if I’d seen it, and when I said no, he asked me how old I was. He was so sure I would share his rage about it that when I didn’t, he assumed I was old. We have a year’s difference.

I love that moment you go to add an emoji into an iMessage and the whole thing animates like a Zelda game dialogue, highlighting the important words in orange for clarity. Like yes, make my little shopping list into a quest for my partner, they’ll love that

I used to wear my heart on my sleeves, but it would get dirty pretty often so I had to move it back into the torso. Stupid me, I forgot I put the sleeve cleaning solution in there first.

Was very happy to see Nintendo finally announce a cozy RPG about a witch in the mountains with a cat, I always felt we were missing something like it since playing Disco Elysium.

I feel like this article misses the part where nothing in Brazil resembles the current American administration whatsoever. Actually not even sure what the point of the article is. observer.com/2025/02/terr...

I want to be well enough established in the entertainment industry to be on an episode of Red Letter Media’s Best of the Worst, but no more than that. That’s the perfect middle area for me.

I feel like anytime I’m beginning to understand something I’d been confused about, there’s an online forum with comments full of needlessly abusive language about people who don’t understand the full extent of the subject. There’s just no way to win over some people.
