I’m pretty tired of bars and breweries having more than half of their tap list being variations of IPAs. Perhaps mix it up a bit, have some diversity?

Not enough good imperial stouts are brewed in the SF Bay Area. Meantime each brewery has 5-6 IPAs on their tap list.

I’m happy to say Magnolia Pub and Brewery in San Francisco is back. It feels more like the original iteration. The food is excellent and the beer is good again. New Belgium’s ownership ruined them.

I’m sure I’m the only one but I dislike when brewery restaurants serve cocktails. Imho, beer should be the focus, not spirits.

It’s disheartening that Full Circle Brewing is shutting down Speakeasy Ales and Lagers in San Francisco. While the founders of Speakeasy mismanaged funds,but Ces Butner who bought them did nothing to help revitalize the company. Now Full Circle is changing the name to District 10 Brewery.

Last weekend I tried Barebottle Brewing Co’s Mighty Mosaic and Space Detective. Despite both being Hazy IPAs, the hops and amount of malt really make the difference. I’d definitely choose Space Detective next time over Mighty Mosaic.

This AM took all my will power to keep calm. I went into a Starbucks to grab a co-worker a thank you drink. Going in,I got cursed out for supporting Israel. Then on the way out they harassed me for buying a drink. They walked with me for a block shit talking. Not how you win hearts and minds.

If you want to give you money to a #brewery that specializes in IPAs buy from Sierra Nevada. They’re independently owned! Don’t give a dime to Stone Brewing who is owned by Sapporo. Stone isn’t half as good as Sierra Nevada anyway. #IPA #CraftBeer
