Any remaining illusion of the rule of law, that the law should apply to all equally regardless of their station or class, has just been totally obliterated.

Probably 90% of the hatred I see against AI are really people hating capitalism. AI is just an obvious target for what are largely temporary or contingent reasons.

Really been enjoying this game. Put a lot of time into it, still enjoying it.
One feature I’d like to see @bsky.app steal from Twitter (nowly X, RIP) is community notes. Especially the way that once a note appears on something users already interacted with, they get notified about it. Excellent way to combat dis and misinformation.

The problem with pieces like this, which are countless, is the prevailing media assumption that left-of-center Americans need constant corrective instruction about how to be in and engage with the world, whereas right-of-center Americans are simply to be observed in awe, like rainbows or mountains.
